Mini Church

During Sunday Morning Service, 11am – 12.30pm, For children aged 2 until they go to school

Simply put, Mini Church is church done ‘our way’! At St Chad’s we want to be running church the way that works best for everyone. In Mini Church this means we have plenty of free play time, group worship, stories, craft, colouring and more. Why don’t you come and join us?!

Need a life-line in the middle of the week? Why not come and have a coffee with other mums, dads, grandparents and carers while the children have some fun?

We are open to anyone with children under school age. Our mornings are made up of free play (while the adults catch up!) followed by circle time, with a bible story and nursery rhymes, then craft time for the older ones. And then more playing!

Babies under 12 months old – (and their mums/dads carers!) – join with us on a Wednesday morning in a baby-designated space. Calm, relaxed – a chance to catch up with other people at a similar stage in life and share stories, regain a little sanity and relax!

Our activities provide a great place to make new friends. They’re busy, but fun!

Sparklers – Wednesday Mornings in the Guywood Centre (up and running from September 9th)
10:00 – 11:30am (School Term Only)

Stars – Thursday Mornings in the Guywood Centre (up and running from September 10th)
10:00 – 11:30am (School Term Only)

Just 4 Dads is a stay & play group for dads, grandads or male carers who are looking after pre-school aged children (0-4 year olds). Looking after kids can be a lonely job, so come and meet others in the same situa on and get some adult conversation!

We aim to provide a fun and safe environment where you can be proud of being a dad and looking after your kids, and can enjoy good coffee and a chat at the same time.

Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits provided, along with lots of toys and fun things to do.

Wednesdays 1.00 -2.30 pm Guywood Centre
No need to book, just come along. £2 per child

More than Coffee is a group for women who want to get together to talk, not just about the latest soap opera, but about life.Kids struggling at school? Disobedient children at home? Losing your temper a little too often? We want to be real with each other and share our lives. No one has all the answers but talking together can help.

Thursday mornings 10.00 to 11.30am Upper room Guywood Centre.
