Chads Youth provide an exciting range of activities for young people throughout the week. The various groups are headed up by our full time team and ably assisted by other volunteers. Plenty of games, food, weekends away, DVDs, hot chocolate and chat or time to chill are all part of the fun whatever group you're in!

Behind the scenes at Chads Youth there's a massive youth team coordinating the events and in local High Schools. The team are in Werneth and Marple Hall doing a range of things from lunchtime clubs to lessons and assemblies.

The team are also heading up a new initiative at Werneth with a scheme called 'The Corridor Crew'. This means that some of the team are in the school everyday at lunchtime in the corridors talking to the young people, and being a presence in the corridors.

Recently the team have been deeply involved in supporting the young people at the schools emotionally too, being a neutral person to talk to about issues arising.

Elevate is something that the Chads Youth Team are very much involved in running along with several other Churches from the Stockport & South Manchester Area.

It's a place where young Christians can gather and meet other young Christians, and have a great time of worship, teaching and prayer ministry together.

One of the visions of Elevate is to rise up a new generation of leaders, and see young people given opportunities to grow and experience having active parts within the service.

What Goes On

Monday Evenings
6:00 - 7:15 (School Term Only)

A chill out club for years 7-9 with hockey, basketball, games, and looking at what Christianity is all about through DVDs and discussion.

FOLLOWED BY YOUTH CELL

Thursday Evenings
6:30 - 9:30 (School Term Only)

A laid back chill out club for years 10-13 with lots of time to meet new people, play pool, basketball, games and chances to meet new people! The Chads Youth Team are always about to answer any questions too!

Then at 8:00 we switch to Youth Cell... It's a time of worship, ministry and interactive discussion in several smaller groups. We get to go deeper and explore more of Gods word.

Friday Evenings (Monthly)   7:00 - 9:15

Euphoria hosts live bands, interactive games and a whole host of other fun, as the Guywood Centre is opened up for a crazy night once a month.

We've got local young bands playing, a wide range of games, including pool, table tennis, basket ball, karaoke and more!
