Healthy families spend time together, week-in, week-out, through all life’s ups and downs. Many Christians who have glorified God over many years, when reflecting at the end of their lives, highlight the value of the commitment to regularly meet with other Christians to pray, share honestly and learn from the Bible.

At their best, small groups are the places for deep, honest, joyful, life-giving friendships to be formed, through the habits of meeting together, praying, sharing and learning. In addition to worshipping with others in larger Sunday gatherings and growing deeper with God in private times of prayer and Bible study, meeting regularly with other disciples is key to growing as followers of Jesus.

Whether you feel like there is a gift that you have that would benefit the church, or you’re not sure how but just want to get stuck in, we want to help you find a way to serve.

We have a huge range of ways in which you can serve at St Chad's.

On Sundays our incredible team of volunteer help with kids and youth work, serving tea and coffee, welcoming people, worship, sound and visuals to name just a few.

Throughout the week we have an incredible army of people that help us run our pre-school and families outreach groups, food bank, church flowers & cleaning, pastoral care within the community, provision for older people and at the LifeCentre café and bookshop.
