The CAP Money Course is a simple, but really effective money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a "cash-based" system that really works.

In just a few weeks, you will get to grips with your finances so you can budget, save and prevent debt. Whether you feel pretty organised or whether it's like a lucky dip every time you try to withdraw cash from your account, the CAP Money Course will help you take complete control of your finances.

There are hundreds of courses run throughout the country each year, along with specific courses for students, youth and kids. Courses are completely free and there is no need to book!

What is the Alpha Course?

The Alpha Course is a place to explore life, faith, and meaning in a relaxed and welcoming environment. It’s a space where you can bring any questions you have—honestly, any question.

Alpha runs over 10 sessions. Each one begins with a meal, followed by a short talk that looks at a different question about faith. After that, there’s time to chat and share your thoughts. You’re free to say whatever you think—or simply listen. There’s no charge, and absolutely no pressure.

Everyone is welcome, whatever your background or beliefs.

The next full Alpha Course at St Chad’s begins in May 2026. If you’d like to try it out first, why not come along to our launch event on Tuesday 14th April? It’s a great way to get a taste of what Alpha is like before committing.
